Discounts for Disabled People
Disabled travellers can also buy bus tickets with discount, but the discount rules can change according to the country. Sometimes disabled passengers pay the same values as other passengers; but for disabled who need a helper to travel, Eurolines and partners offer a discount for the helpers. TICKET REFUND AND EXCHANGES
Eurolines allows exchange and cancellation of bus tickets, however, sometimes there is a fee for this service. The amount of this fee varies according to the country where the bus tickets were bought.
Amendment fees vary according to the type od bus tickets. For standard tickets there is no limit to the number of times that the ticket can be changed, but the fee must be paid each time. Asking to change 48 hours before departure, the fee to be paid is €3-€5 per ticket; between 6 and 44 hours before the fee is €6-€10 per ticket and after 6 hours in advance, the change is not allowed.
Eurolines allows one modification for promo tickets; asking for the change with 48 hours before departure, the passenger should pay €6-€10 per ticket + difference between promo and standard fare; after 48 hours in advance, the modification is not allowed.
There are fees for cancellations too and they vary according to the type of bus tickets. For standard tickets, cancellations made at least 48 hours before departure, the passenger must pay 25% of the bus ticket price. Passengers who request cancellation of bus tickets, between 6 and 48 hours before the trip should pay 50% of the bus ticket price and requests made after 6 hours in advance, the passenger must pay 100% of the bus ticket price.
To cancel promo tickets, at any time, passengers should pay 100% of ticket price.
Boarding on Bus
It’s important follow the check-in time instructions stated on your ticket. Mostly passengers should be at the terminal 30 minutes in advance the departure; if your check-in is at London Victoria or Paris Gallieni, you should be at the terminal no later than 1 hour prior to departure.
We warn to passengers who arrive at the terminals within 15 minutes of the departure stated on the ticket can have their boarding refused.
Baggage Size and Weight Limits
Passengers can carry 2 medium sized suitcases without having to pay a fee. The baggage can not be more than 70cm x 80cm x 20cm and weigh more than 40Kg. If it exceeds the weight or size allowed, the passenger will have to pay a fee.
Besides that, passengers are allowed to take onboard 1 hand luggage not exceeding 5Kg, the luggage must easily fit in the overhead racks.
Pets on Bus
With the exception of registered sensing dogs for blind passengers, the transport of pets at Eurolines’ buses are prohibited.
